The distributed fiber optic sensor is an essential tool in civil infrastructures. It provides complete and accurate information on the condition of your civil infrastructure to: increase service life, reduce maintenance costs and improve safety, providing peace of mind to the infrastructure owner.

UPTECH SENGING's distributed fiber optic solutions present a unique set of monitoring applications related to strain, vibration and temperature measurements during the construction and operation phase.

Deformation information locates and detects early damage before any signs are visible in the structure. The distributed feature allows detection of cracks and notification of alerts above a certain strain threshold throughout the structure. In addition, two types of equipment are available, one dedicated to slow moving structures and the other for transport facilities, where dynamic detection is a must.

Temperature data provide other possibilities, such as fire detection, leak detection in water containment structures, and monitoring of the concrete curing process.
