The UTS-BB1000 equipment is a distributed or linear measurement equipment that allows the reading of temperature and strain along the entire length of a fiber optic cable. Thanks to the noise reduction techniques applied during its design, the UTS-BB1000 unit allows spatial resolution of long monitoring distances using low measurement times and with unmatched precision.

The multichannel system allows the monitoring of multiple fiber optic cables reaching a distance of up to 160 km in linear infrastructures and a maximum of 960 km with the use of all channels.

In addition, the system includes a Control unit (CU1000) running the company's UTS nerVision software for easy implementation of the solution in the field. The Control unit connects to any communications infrastructure facilitating the integration of the solution in any type of control center or SCADA. The solution is available in rack or wall format for use in any industrial environment.
