QUANTITATIVE MEASUREMENTS AND IMPROVED USABILITY TO EASILY CLASSIFY EVENTS.

The UTS-AS1000 equipment is an acoustic distributed measurement equipment for the detection of vibrations and acoustic waves along a fiber optic cable. The monitoring solution, pending patent, allows to quantify the response characterized in the optical fiber thanks to the characterization of the amplitude and phase of the signal coming from the optical fiber. In addition, the equipment has a new technique that solves the appearance of areas of the cable without vibration information or acoustic waves suffered by other equipment.

The system has been designed by UPTECH SENSING to provide the industry with an easy-to-use monitoring solution. Software developments based on machine learning techniques allow correct training of the solution during start-up, minimizing the generation of false alerts.

The solution is installed both in a rack together with the Control unit UTS-CU1000 that connects to any communications infrastructure, facilitating the integration of the solution in any type of control center or SCADA.
