Congratulations to the whole consortium!

During the conference in IHCantabria, the advances have been presented together with our partners Red Eléctrica, Sener, DITREL INDUSTRIAL, UPTECH SENSING and Ocean Ecostructures.

Our colleague Marco J. presented the advanced solutions for monitoring evacuation cables in this type of offshore plants.

A great boost for the sustainable energy transition, we keep innovating!

#ECOFOSS, the R&D&I project led by Navantia Seanergies, through #COEX Green Energies, and whose objective is the design of a #floating high voltage alternating current floating electrical substation zero emissions, has been presented to #institutions and #companies that will contribute to the development of #floating offshore wind #energy and #offshore #hydrogen.

Accompanied by the partner companies of this project, Red Eléctrica, Sener, DITREL INDUSTRIAL S.L., UPTECH SENSING and Ocean Ecostructures, we have exposed its content and progress.

The conference was held at the IHCantabria Institute of Environmental Hydraulics of #Cantabria, where #tests are being carried out to validate the behavior of the #substation in the #sea.

We have counted with the outstanding presence of Javier Herrador, director of Navantia Seanergies, Luis Velasco Bodega, director of Support for the Development of Facilities of Red Eléctrica, Sergi Ametller Malfaz Malfaz, director of Offshore Wind of Sener, and Raúl Medina, general director of IHCantabria.

Also in attendance were Juan Antonio Tébar Chumillas, Director of Innovation Policies at @CDTI_innovacion, Marta Morera Marcé, Director of the Catalan Energy Institute, Pablo Ayesa Pascual, Director General of the National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER), and FERNANDO QUERO SANZ, Market Director of TECNALIA Research & Innovation, among others.
